The Washington DC Experience

 

Each year Law Magnet students have the opportunity to experience national government on a first hand basis - through the Close Up Foundation. With the sponsorship of  Mr. Severo Perez, Law Magnet students travel to Washington DC to meet with lawmakers, policymakers, members of the media, and others and learn about the inner workings of our federal government.

 

The cost of the trip is subsidized by student fundraising and donations made by the Dallas legal and business communities - including the "Friends of the Law Magnet."
