SKills USA provides an opportunity for leadership, application of skills and competition for students in the Walter Williams Criminal Justice Cluster. Over the years, the Law Magnet Chapter of Skills USA has elected more national officers than any other school in the nation.
Sponsored by Mr. Severo Perez, Skills USA students learn about parliamentary procedure, compete in crime scene investigation, learn about the importance of honesty, integrity and dedication in the areas of criminal justice and law enforcement.

The Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet SkillsUSA Chapter is a non-profit group that focuses primarily on enhancing member’s knowledge in the criminal justice trade through hands on training and competition. Students have the opportunity to develop and master skills in various law enforcement procedures. SkillsUSA’s mission is to empower its members to become world-class workers, leaders and responsible American citizens.
